Main Street Boundaries
- A key to success in downtown revitalization, which has been proven in the over 40 years of the Approach’s existence, is the need for focus. Revitalization efforts are carried out with finite resources, therefore focusing these resources in a limited area maximizes a local program’s impact and demonstrated success. - As part of a strategic planning process, the Downtown Lynchburg Association (DLA) worked alongside the Fifth Street Community Development Corporation (CDC) to identify projects as first steps toward creating a stronger neighborhood commercial district and incorporating it into the organization’s service area. Dementia Awareness
- Culpeper Downtown businesses and Culpeper Renaissance Inc. (CRI) staff members joined together for a dementia awareness training session hosted by Aging Together and the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce.
