Healthy organizations start with board members who understand their role and how best to bring their skills to the board table.
On November 14, from noon-1 PM, please join us and Cindy Colson of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence for Nonprofit Board Fundamentals: What’s Your Job?, a webinar designed to give board members a jump start on effective service.
Participants will leave the webinar with a robust understanding of their role as a board member. New board members of Virginia Main Street organizations are encouraged to attend, as are more experienced board members who seek to sharpen their board knowledge. We also encourage nonprofit executive staff to participate, as this is a great opportunity to engage with your board members. We believe that nonprofit boards are strongest when they learn and strive for continuous improvement together, so we encourage multiple board members from your organization to attend.
