Excitingly, Main Street America (MSA) announced that a second round of the Hartbeat on Main Street Grant Program will open on Thursday, October 22, 2020. In partnership with The Hartford, the program will continue to fund solutions that help merchants respond and adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as helping to revitalize and strengthen older and historic downtown commercial districts.

Once the application opens, MSA will post a link to the application on the program’s website, but you can click here to view a PDF version. Here are a few other important things to note:

• Applications will open on October 22, 2020 and must be submitted by October 29, 2020 by 4:59 p.m. PT.

• All Round 1 grant applicants have been notified about the status of their submissions, and grant recipients will be publicly announced on October 21, 2020.

• Applicants should review MSA’s program website and FAQ before completing an application, paying careful attention to eligibility questions that offer guidance for those that already applied during Round 1.
