
Main Street America (MSA) has taken notice of how Main Street programs across the country have demonstrated their immense value to their local communities through challenging times, not only supporting small businesses but implementing innovative strategies to form new partnerships and cultivate entrepreneurship. Inspired by Main Street leaders, MSA seeks to help support continued revitalization efforts through the Main Street Resiliency Grant Program as the road ahead remains unknown and resources are scarce. The Main Street Resiliency Grant Program will be made available exclusively to MSA member communities, specifically Accredited MSA programs and state, county, and city MSA Coordinating Programs. The grant program will provide 10 members $8,500 each to fund innovative revitalization efforts to address the current and/or legacy impacts of COVID-19, uplifting and supporting approaches / creative techniques that will help Main Street navigate the impacts of the pandemic.
MSA will be accepting applications through Friday, February 19, 2021. Grant recipients will be announced during the month of March, and programs will be required to complete their project within six months of of contract execution.
