The holiday season is quickly approaching, and it’s time to begin rallying your community around the small businesses that help make your downtown thrive! Encourage your community to Shop Small on Small Business Saturday by applying to be a Neighborhood Champion. Excitingly, Main Street America (MSA) has partnered alongside American Express to help communities support small businesses, and every MSA member has been pre-qualified to serve as Neighborhood Champions on a first-come, first served basis. You only need to fill out a brief application and indicate you were referred by the National Main Street Center (NMSC).
As a Neighborhood Champion, you’ll:
- Rally your community to Shop Small throughout the holiday season
- Partner with small businesses to organize Small Business Saturday and Shop Small holiday season activities
- Distribute a Shop Small merchandise kit that encourages holiday shopping and supporting small businesses all season
Small Business Saturday will be held on November 27, 2021, and applications to become a Neighborhood Champion will close November 09, 2021. Be sure to apply soon!
