DIG funds allows Advancing Virginia Main Street (AVMS) programs to take on unique, one-time projects that measurable, creatively and sustainably advance the organization’s goals and strategies. DIGs involve multiple downtown partners and require active leadership and participation by the organization’s board, committees and volunteers!
Community Vitality Grant (CVG) | Deadline to Apply: April 28, 2022
CVG funds are designed to assist organizations and communities in achieving their downtown revitalization goals, and they’re ideal for Exploring Main Street (EMS) and Mobilizing Main Street (MMS) communities to aid their revitalization efforts that will create a positive impact on the downtown neighborhood’s long-term goals!
Community Business Launch (CBL) | Deadline to Apply: April 28, 2022
The CBL program is a place-based, entrepreneurial development strategy that fills a critical mass of vacant storefronts with expansion or start-up ventures. Local CBL programs train participants about business planning practices, culminating in a group of finalists receiving grant funding and support services from the community to kick-start their new venture!
