Check out these speakers and session highlights for day one, July 28:

At 9:30 a.m., we will set you up for an inspiring conference with a special keynote from President & CEO of the National Main Street Center Patrice Frey, who oversees the center’s work, offering technical assistance, research, advocacy and training opportunities for Main Street’s network of approximately 1,800 members.

“Across the Main Street America Network, the response to COVID-19 has been overwhelming. You have moved mountains to sustain your businesses and communities. You have rapidly restructured your work, sought resources, advocated for support, and implemented new programs within days. You have demonstrated the power of working with others across the community to respond to a crisis.Patrice Frey, President & CEO, NMSC

After a thirty-minute networking break to connect with your peers, much like spontaneous conversations in hallways of an in-person conference, we will hear from the center’s Vice President of Revitalization Programs Matt Wagner, a 20 year veteran of nonprofit management and fostering dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems in downtown development.  At 11 a.m., Matt’s session will focus on collective recovery from the global pandemic, with guidance on how you can work plan an informed and strategic road map for a thriving commercial district.
