The Virginia Community Development Corporation (VCDC) believes that vibrant communities drive change. If you’re a nonprofit organization that helps make communities a better place for all residents and that works in Virginia or surrounding regions, the Mission Elevation program is perfect for you!
Mission Elevation offers customized solutions to nonprofit organizations based on their current needs. Supported by experienced coaches, participants pick their end point and VCDC will support identified goals. “I have more tools now to apply towards my work and decision making. And, personally, I feel like I am calmer in how I approach big issues or ‘fires’ that need to be put out. Our peers in the program helped us see where we fit in among other community-based nonprofits that provide housing and other critical human services. It helped us improve our messaging and how we communicate who we are, what we do and why that is important!“
