Mark your calendar! The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and others have partnered alongside the Virginia Farmers Market Association (VAFMA) to organize an exciting agritourism conference focused on resilience, relevance and connectivity.

Base Camp: Exploring the Trails, Agritourism, and Downtown Ecosystem will be held virtually on October 18-21, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily. The conference will highlight the following:

• Day 1 – Downtown are vital to trails and agritourism
• Day 2 – Agritourism connections for increased visitation
• Day 3 – Trails building connections

At the end of the three day conference, those interested can register for a workshop that will be held the following day, which seeks to help participants review what they have learned throughout the conference and how to effectively connect the differing parts of trails, agritourism and downtown ecosystems!
