
Recently, the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) opened three funding programs:
VTC Recovery Marketing Leverage Grant Program | Maximum: $20,000 and $10,000 (2 funding levels)
- The coronavirus has had a devastating impact on the tourism and hospitality industries in Virginia. As the Commonwealth reopens for business, the VTC Recovery Marketing Leverage Grant Program seeks to spur economic activity and travel across Virginia.
Virginia Special Events and Festivals Program | Maximum: $20,000 and $10,000 (2 funding levels)
- The Virginia Special Events & Festival Program seeks to assist with the marketing and production of established Virginia special events and festivals. Preference will be given to special events and festivals that have a significant and positive economic impact on the Virginia local community.
Virginia DMO Marketing Grant Program | Maximum: $20,000
- The Virginia DMO Marketing Grant Program seeks to assist Virginia DMOs with marketing their destinations by providing funding to supplement the DMO existing marketing budget.
All three funding programs will close on March 8, 2022, and awards should be made by April 15, 2022.
