Next month, the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will hold a webinar on Wednesday, March 09, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. to discuss getting capital into your local ecosystem!

We all know that relying on “Aunt Marge” to loan you the money to start your company is not the best strategy, but what else can you do if you are a small entrepreneur looking to start? In this webinar, you’ll hear more about ways for entrepreneurs to access innovative funding like microloans, matched savings accounts and micro-investing, as well as review common gaps in a community’s approach to microfinance and how to identify the stakeholders in the community to fill those gaps.
