Take Your Business to the Next Level with Lean Canvas

leancanvasAre you an entrepreneur looking to take your business idea to the next level? Register now to attend one of six Lean Canvas workshops, presented by Dale Fickett of RVA Works, in partnership with the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development’s Main Street program and hosting localities. This day-long session on the Lean Canvas method offers a system for entrepreneurs or existing business owners to examine a business idea and improve its chances for long-term growth.  In eight hours, participants will:

  • Refine & test a business idea
  • Provide additional value to new and/or existing customers
  • Position your business or business idea for sustainable growth

Participants will also gain an invaluable business resource through the workshop- access to other entrepreneurs across the Commonwealth! Through a discussion board platform, participants will be able to communicate with other business owners, mentors, and experts in the field, allowing them to pose their most important business questions to a knowledgeable group of peers.

The session will be led by Dale Fickett, president and co-founder of RVA Works, a Virginia nonprofit cultivating entrepreneurs and creating credible pathways to business ownership. A mentor to hundreds of entrepreneurs, Dale has lectured on entrepreneurship and innovation with several leading universities, including the Wharton School University of Pennsylvania, Trinity College Dublin, Northwestern University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. He Holds an MBA from Villanova University, and a BSBA from LaSalle University.
