Join us June 9 from 11 a.m.-noon for the preconference* webinar, Basic Principles of Main Street Promotion.
Travis Brown, director of business development for Rokusek and Maestro Community Manager, will dive into dynamic and effective promotion – not just great events, but effective marketing and communication to keep your organization and downtown at the forefront of the community, even in today’s environment. Kicking off a successful future for Main Street, Brown will cover:
- Developing a plan that highlights the Main Street program and district
- Choosing the most effective marketing channels
- Engaging the community and staying connected
- Leading online events and activating downtown safely
Brown began a successful career in communications with the Boy Scouts of America, and for almost a decade, he led his hometown, Historic Quincy [IL] Business District, as executive director. Under Brown’s leadership, the organization grew in membership, increased revenue, strengthened community relations, went through a rebranding campaign and saw many advances in technology and innovation. Five years ago, he joined the team at Rokusek, where he works with downtowns across the country through various Main Street projects, including Maestro Community Manager, a cloud-based, organizational and downtown management platform.
