Building a healthy organizational foundation is key to attracting engagement and investment for your commercial district revitalization efforts. Whether you are positioned in a long-standing program or starting anew, this webinar will give you tools in three key areas to strengthen your organization, with special consideration about the current health emergency. Norma Ramirez de Miess, director of leadership development for the National Main Street Center, will cover:

  • Defining and sharing your organization’s message with key stakeholder to expand your reach
  • Fostering active community engagement through a solid volunteer development program
  • Understanding how to develop a diverse funding structure and alignment of resources

Ramirez de Miess offers over 20 years of direct leadership experience and a passion for building communities with strong sense of place and economic vitality. As a director of leadership development for the National Main Street Center, she works with state partners and hundreds of communities across the country defining strategies & supporting effective implementation of revitalization efforts. She developed the Center’s Diversity services offering strategies to foster inclusive engagement and support to multicultural entrepreneurs. Ramirez de Miess also helped define the framework for Main Street America Institute, the Center’s professional development program and conducts regular leadership trainings at statewide and national conferences.
